Design - Mode of Operation
The CKM is an online company that delivers food packages to parents when they place an order. The difference from the typical delivery systems all over the country is that the clients have the ability fully to customize each component of the kid's meal. The child might be a lactose intolerant child, or they might be allergic to eggs. We put these into considerations when we were coming up with the company and planned to have them sorted out by having the client describe the kind of food they would want for their child. When the company says that it is customizable, it has the consumer in mind and means the full idea of the word as it can mean; the parents have the option of giving details to the company to have the meals prepared as they want. The company has professional cooks who have been in the field for years and would more that love to serve parents in accordance with the detailed instructions that the parents are capable of giving. The client is given a section of the online site of the company to describe the way they would like the meals to be prepared, down to the last detail. If they were to use calls, there is a line that the company purchased, with minimum affordable charges that are fully operational any time of the day or night. The company understands that the urge to feed the child can come anytime, and the reliable Management.
The company management is comprised of various partners, all of whom were instrumental in lifting CKM to its current position. The managers come in two forms. The first is the boarding team of executives who orchestrate majority of the running regulations and routines for the company workers.
They see to it that the company's objectives are achieved, using the mission to attain the unanimous vision the workers of the business agreed on. The managers have been in the board for over six years and intend to expand the services to other countries once the three-year plan of the project is done. At the moment, the project is still in its early stages. It is geared toward improving the company's sustainability at a time of increased investment with minimal resources available while simultaneously trying to attract more clientele. The other groups of managers are the employees. Employees get to choose which people they would like to represent them on the board. They have the option of doing so through the online web page. In this manner, the customers feel that they are every bit responsible for the type of services they are receiving and the kind of meals their children are receiving. The procedure for the selection is included in the CKM's website. The management goals are reviewed every year and are subject to change based on the customer responses or the company performance.
The company assessment procedure will be based on the financial reports and accounting statements that it will be reviewing every four months. The statements and accounting will be in alignment with the statutes of the International Accounting Standards (IAS) and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) (Antill & Lee, 2008; Palea, 2006). The control charts and market performance will need regular reviewing . Introduction of unpremeditated variables in the market will demand the company to re-evaluate its strategies and risks assessments. The evaluation will include the management, but the customers are given to option of giving options and suggestions for the company plans. CKM understands that the customers know the best way they would like to be treated and the best way of ensuring that they do that is by involving them in some of the management decisions such as the incorporation of a representative among others approaches that are due to get implemented. The company felt that customizable had to reflect in the business actions as much as possible.
Modifications and Considerations
CMK has the child as the target; to ensure that they get the best meals in the absence of the parent, or if the parent is not in a position to prepare the meal. Such situations can happen anytime. For this reason, the company has made several modifications to its services. For instance, the company has included the children's particulars. A child might have a palate cleft of any condition that might make them have difficulties consuming normal food. These children have normal regimes and means with which they should take their meals and assuming them would end up severing the customer relations (Brassington & Pettitt, 2003). The customer, being the prime reason for the success of the company, will have the option of having this detail put into consideration when they prepare the meals. The details will be optional and included in the web page as well as when making calls. It is the first among the many other adjustments CKM has in place for the next three years, in accordance with the three-year plan. The other consideration is the expansion of the company. The number of clients is increasing at a rate never anticipated by the company. To the CKM, this progress is indicative of the potential growth it would elicit in other countries. The management would in the near future plan to have other branches open up in various parts of the international market. Target countries include Canada, Australia and Taiwan.
Retailers and Wholesalers .The employees have different roles to play in the company. The managers do their fair share in keeping the company at its feet. They are also dependent on the commitment of the other workers to achieve their goals. One of the crucial roles is played by the retailers and the wholesalers. Once the company was registered, it never though that it would require the assistance of this group of business people. Today, they are the close link between the business and the customer. Some of them are employed part-time and others full time, selling the portable products of the company. Distributed in strategic places of the country, they have the task of delivering the meal to the customers. They are supplied with company cars and bicycles to reach into the far off places. Some also offer advice to customers, when they feel that they are not getting the best treatment that the company can provide them (Dent, 2011; Ferdman & Deane, 2014). It fosters a relationship based on customer trust in a corporation, an invaluable asset in our business service. Since they are the company's ear on the ground, they get suggestions from customers, which aid in the adjustments to offer better delivery services (Ferdman & Deane, 2014). More have been recruited in the recent years, seeing that the demand is increasing. The revenue earned from the positive image they create for the company cannot go unnoticed. They are an essential tool for the Market Logistics. The market is ever shifting. The company had already planned for such contingencies in the eventthat they occurred. However, very little of what it had anticipated took place, putting the company in a favorable position to view the market forces. The demand has always been at an all-time increase. The customer pool is as diverse as it is ever growing. The demand from the public and the customers has seen the company increase its number of branches to various parts of the country. Despite the demand and supply interpretations, they are limited by the laws of the land (Ferrell & Hartline, 2004). The side policies of these two market policies are subject to change anytime, during the current rule of the government or the one that is to come (Brassington & Pettitt, 2003). Changes in the policies are destined to alter the projects and strategies the company might have had in store. To counter such occurrences, the company has created a panel of business analysts to craft plans and alternatives to those contingency plans should there be a change in the governmental policies. The IAS and IFRS might also include changes in their policies. Although the policies are formed so that the businesses all over the world are streamlined to work in corporations with ease, the policies might affect the company in various ways. A set of plans is being put up for these emergencies. The other aspect that the company looked into was the competition it was likely to face from other similar companies.
Now, the analysts have reasoned that there are people who plan to set up a similar company. In the event that an enterprise plans to use CKM's idea, there are steps CKM would take.
Communication and Advertising Campaign
In advertising, the company plans to spend as little as possible. The first aspect it will look into is the message about the company, and whether it is being projected to the public. The next thing is the frequency with which it is being advertised to the people. These two aspects from the three cost-effective programs the company has in store. The first is the loyalty scheme (Foss & Stone, 2001). The loyalty scheme will involve consistent customers who will be given special rewards, discounts and prizes. They will also be included in the company inner circle, which comes with its benefits. The second program is the affinity project. It is geared toward involvement in other aspects of the customer's life other than just placing orders (Foss & Stone, 2001). Some of these involvements include the walks and charity projects, which are in one way or the other connected to the customer (Lee & Kotler, 2013). CKM plans to be more than a company to the client; it plans to be a companion. The third and final program is the community- building program. The community that surrounds the respective branches will have a task to establish a healthy relationship with the community members. Establishment of this rapport will not only reveal the masked wants of the people but increase the trust of people in the company, which markets the reliability of CKM (Lee & Kotler, 2013). These three programs are what the company have resorted to at the moment. The target audience, in this case, is particularly the mothers aged between 25 and 40.
To the target audience, the company intends to create a particular image, by setting the desired objectives, adjusting the message design in the most effective way, promotions and role that the public relations will have in creating the brand and company image. The mothers between 25 and 40 are the ones likely to have the children with the CKM handles. The image that we want the customers and the world to have is that of a caring company, which can only come to pass by having the best relations with the public. The design with which this message will reach the public will come from the customers. They will give comments regarding the service, a cost-effective way of sending the message to the public. At the same time advertising and promoting the company services. They can do this by word of mouth, by the advertisements the company plans to have and by the commentary sections online and the feedback boxes in every branch. In this way, the objectives of the company will be achieved, through a collaborative effort of the customers, the company and the public. CKM believes that the fostering of healthy relationships and communication between the workers, the customers and the public will garner its biggest goals.
In conclusion, the Customizable Kids' Meals is targeting to increase its services to people beyond the country. However, a strong base is what it wants to nurture, before spreading the wings to go international. The strategies are liable to change, yet flexible enough to accommodate a broad range of variables that might affect its progress. Customer relations are the base that it intends to foster (Foss & Stone, 2001). In the next ten years, the project is geared to increase its services in major parts of the world.
