Newborn Tips#1: Don't Hush-A-Bye-Baby
You don't have to be quiet while the baby is sleeping. The womb is loud, and newborns are used to the noise. When ours first came home, we watched television and I would vacuum, wash dishes and talk on the phone around her while she slept. She got used to sleeping with noise, and I could get stuff done. I am still able to vacuum in her room while she sleeps (she is 14 months), and she is peaceful and well rested when she wakes up.
Newborn Tips#2: Soothe Your Wailing Newborn
When my baby cries, I comfort her by patting her back in a heartbeat-like rhythm. That helps her burp more quickly, and it also helps her relax if she's crying from insecurity. If this doesn’t work, I also try one or all of Dr. Harvey Karp's five calming moves: swaddling, shushing, holding her on her side, swinging her or letting her suck. Sometimes it takes all six!
Jordan Einstein said, “If you want your kids to be awesome, tell them Fairy Experiences. If you want them to be very awesome, tell them even more Fairy Experiences.”
Storytelling is a crucial factor in a kid's beginning growth accurately because of the way the kid's truth is designed upon images. A kid's intellect, potential of thoughts, the incorporation of believed, sensation, and action into a whole intuitive framework able to create its trans-formative potential, rely on this inner image capability.
And to allow this elegance that Jordan Einstein realized first hand to glow forth, kids need to have the exclusive probability to create their own inner image capability free of “adult input”.
Children need to be able to imaginatively make their own creation to bring the figures and stories to lifestyle.
Fairy Experiences should offer the terms, you offer the storytelling, and your kids make their own images of what's occurring on a page! They can actually sketch them or tell you what they see.
This entertaining mixture is storytelling at its FINEST! It will have powerful and durable results on your kid's intellect, thoughts growth, focus, creativeness, creativeness, social abilities, and self-confidence-the foundations to a effective upcoming.

Research also reveals that kids access and create their unlimited creativeness and awesome thoughts by developing their own images!
As they pay attention to or study fairy tales without seeing some grownups idea of what's occurring on a web page, kids ARE completely interesting their unlimited and innovative creativeness. Then they can sketch their own image or explain what they “imagine” or “see” to whoever is studying them the tale. Then that person can then help them “draw it” into truth or create down what the kid is “imagining” for upcoming referrals.
Newborn Tips#3: Help Get Your Baby to Latch
If you are having latch-on issues while breastfeeding your baby, you can use breast shields to help the process. This was a wonderful tip that I learned from my lactation consultant. I had to use the shields for an entire month before my baby would latch onto my own nipple without them. Had it not been for the breast shields, I would not have been able to continue nursing my baby.
Newborn Tips#4: Get Prepped
At 3 weeks, babies’ days and nights become more predictable, and you can focus on yourself in addition to your newborn. One way to do that is by reducing your stress level - and having everything ready for your hungry baby and yourself is one way to do that. Start by prepping for the next feeding as soon as the previous one is over. For example, after an 11 p.m. feeding, get ready for the 2 a.m. one by prepping whatever you need for feeding and putting out fresh drinking water for yourself so you don’t have anything to think about in the middle of the night. During the day, take advantage of the baby’s naps to work out, shower or catch up on e-mail, or take a nap too.
Internationally recommended writer, speaker, and professional on kid growth John Chilton Pearce enlightens us even more on this procedure saying that the “learned capability to make inner images” is one of natural maximum success. Children who absence this capability 'will have serious difficulty' with the summary terminology and believed on which all higher intellect is based. The more creativeness a kid has, the more options he or she has for fixing problems and preventing assault as a remedy.”
Mr. Pearce carries on, “Once having knowledgeable storytelling, even youngsters react in the traditional way when they pay attention to those wonderful words: 'Once upon a time… ' Their systems get still, their oral cavity drop; their wide-open sight, riveted on the storyteller, see nothing without-their seeing is entirely within. For within, the innovative procedure of the kid's thoughts types images, images that give truth, material, and lifestyle to the vibratory stimulation of the terms.”
“This image-making needs a constant transforming and re-relating of all the sensory components of the brain engaged in terminology and vision-which means most of the whole brain-mind system. As the terms circulation from without, so do the images from within. Talk the phrase and it does, indeed, appear. Since almost every area of the brain is engaged in this imagery-sound play, it requirements a complete 'entrainment', one that results in no aware energy for common responses: thus the catatonic body-stance and 'reptilian stare' of the young audience, true one-pointedness.”
In Endangered-minds – Why Children Don't Think and What We Can Do About It, Linda M. Haley, PhD., declares that the terms kids pay attention to “… organize their intellects and help them learn to reason, indicate, and reply to the world. Severe deprive of terminology during beginning years assures durable sensory changes that clearly impact conversation and knowing.”
Fairy Experiences study as a bed time, fun time, home school, per-school or primary school, or other action, nurture a kid's developing procedure through terms, visuals, and the stories they make, offering a wealthy, adoring encounter for both visitors and audience. When kids form their own images, they contact the very primary of their human heart, developing them with the unshakeable indictment of their own self worth.
Forming their own images will also help indigo kids, amazingly kids, and kids with other special abilities and difficulties identify their awesome presents and, with your adoring assistance, include these presents into effective lifestyle.
Newborn Tips#5: Keeping Your Baby Awake During Feedings
When our baby was eating slowly and sleepily, my husband and I would massage her cheek to stimulate her to eat faster. A gentle stroke with a fingertip on her cheek was all it took, and on those long sleepless nights, this simple trick was a godsend! Our friends have found it works great with their infants too. When babies eat efficiently until they're full before going to sleep, they sleep for longer between feedings. And that means you’re both likely to be calmer!
Newborn Tips#6: Help Your Baby Bond with Dad
Make sure your baby has ample time alone with Daddy. His touch and voice are different than yours, and this will begin a bonding process and give you a break. Plus, it gets the baby used to being with someone other than you. The first few times can be hard. Make sure your baby is fed and well rested, as this will give you at least one or two hours before you're needed again. Then leave Dad and the baby alone. If you stay nearby, make sure the baby can’t see or hear you, and resist the urge to go into the room and "fix" things if she starts crying. Your baby cries with you and you experiment to find out what's wrong. Dads need time to do this too - in their own way. By allowing this time, your child will learn there is more than one way to receive comfort, which will help immensely when you leave your baby with a sitter or another family member for the first time. You could have your partner bathe her, put her to bed or just read or talk to her.
